ORGANISATION VISION

To positively and directly effect the health of every single Australian citizen by 2050 through the implementation of our ‘Healthy Australia Initiatives’ and other community education projects

OUR GOALS

While outside the scope of the current 2015 strategic plan, Obesity Prevention Australia has drafted a set of three primary goals that have been established to ensure we remain on track to achieve the organisation’s vision by 2050.

Goal 1:
By 2020:
To have directly empowered over 500,000 Australian adults and children with the knowledge, skills, habits and support needed to take control of their health, while making informed decisions for their future
For  all 7 ‘Healthy Australia Initiatives’ to be actively empowering the lives of our citizens across the nation
To have developed sustainable education facilities across the country within all 7 ‘Healthy Australia initiatives’.  To promote and provide continual healthy lifestyle education to all initiative participants
To provide all Australians with a source of reliable, evidence based advice and information that they can trust to be delivered without a conflict of interests
To clear the confusion and mixed messages nationwide regarding nutrition, fitness and other healthy lifestyle practices. We aim to provide one clear message for the Australian public  throughout all initiatives, throughout all states and throughout all local government areas
To have over 10,000 donating supporters

Goal 2:
By  2030:
To have directly empowered over 1.5 million Australians through the implementation of our 7 ‘Healthy Australia Initiatives’ across the nation.

Goal 3:
By 2040:
To have directly empowered over 10 million Australians through the implementation of our 7 ‘Healthy Australia Initiatives’ across the nation.
